Description
Plas Maelgwyn is a two-storey house with an attic, featuring a front wall faced in ashlar and a large hipped roof covered with red plain tiles. The right bay of the house projects and includes a timber-framed gable with a decorative bargeboard, along with three-light sash windows on both the first and ground floors. The middle bay has a small flat-roofed dormer, a sash window on the first floor with an iron balcony in front, and on the ground floor, there is a doorway with a canopy supported by corbels, a keystone, and a square-headed doorway with a fanlight. The left bay projects even further than the right bay and also features a wide half-timbered gable with a cusped bargeboard at the attic level; it has a plain sash window in the attic and plain three-light sash windows on both the first and ground floors.
