Description

Yr Ysgol is a small former schoolhouse that was once lofted. It is constructed from roughly coursed, mortared rubble masonry, featuring large stones used as quoins and lintels. The roof is covered with small old slates and has a small chimney stack at the eastern gable, complete with dripstones and capping. The main elevation now faces south and includes a single doorway on the left, with a 2-paned light to the right. The western gable, which faces the road, has a blocked doorway on the left (north) that features a datestone above it, displaying the initials L W and the date 1757. To the right of this doorway is a blocked window, and there is a small window located in the gable apex.

Inside, the building retains its original pegged central truss, which has a chamfered cross beam and paired purlins, along with a stone slab floor.
