Description

The gateposts and flanking wall at Maes y Meillion are notable features from the 19th century. The square gateposts have stepped capping topped with globe finials. Curving away from each gatepost are walls made of mortared rubble masonry, finished with flat slab coping. This walling and the gateposts are similar to the entrance at Maes-y-neuadd located on the opposite side of the road.
