Description

The walled gardens at Maes-y-neuadd are enclosed by rubble masonry walls that stand between 2 and 2.5 meters tall, topped with flat stone copings. At the rear of the house, additional rubble walling features roughly embattled coping and includes a flat-headed arch over a gated entrance. This entrance has a reset commemorative stone tablet that reads: J N W / AGED IV 1856.
