Description

The gateposts and gates at Gefail y Cwm are designed in a square shape with stepped capping topped by globe finials. Between the outer gateposts, there are wrought iron gates. The central gate is wide and is flanked by octagonal iron pillars that have pyramidal caps. On either side of the central gate, there are pedestrian gates. The gates feature horizontal bars in the upper section, with single arched bars across and scrolled outer brackets. The lower section of the gates consists of evenly spaced vertical rails.
