Description

The ornate wooden gates at the former entrance to the drive leading to Gloddaeth Hall, located to the southwest of Conway Lodge, are set between later square stone piers. The main gates are flanked by square gate posts, one of which still features its pyramid finial. The gates are equipped with strap hinges and iron finials. The main gate consists of two tiers of three open panels; the upper tier is arcaded, and the studs extend down to the lower outer panels, which also include diagonal bracing. The central lower panel has simpler studs. The outer pedestrian gates feature plain studs in the lower and middle tiers, while the upper tiers have shaped studs.
