Description
The Gateway to The Nook is an elaborate entrance feature designed in the style of a lych gate, constructed with a timber frame set on rubble-stone garden walls. It features turned and shaped uprights at both the front and back, with X-pattern bracing on the sides. The gable includes a tie, posts, and struts, adorned with fret-cut bargeboards, and is topped with a tiled roof that has ridge cresting. The entrance is completed with a simple wooden gate that has an upper tier of shaped studs.
