Description
The barn in the farmyard at Glanmachlas is a Grade II listed structure built of brick, featuring flush stone quoins. Its open sides consist of low brick walls that connect tall brick piers, which have been later infilled with rubble stonework, leaving ventilation slits at two levels on either side of the brick piers. The barn has a slate roof and is arranged in five bays. In the center, there are opposing full-height boarded doors, along with a small door in the left end bay. To the left, the barn continues as a single-storey building with two doors, which were likely originally used as animal pens. At the right end, the barn overlaps the gable end of the southeast range.
