Description
The farm range on the northeast side of the farmyard at Glanmachlas is a Grade II listed building. The earlier section of the building is made of rubble and rests on boulder footings, topped with a slate roof. It features a series of door openings and ventilation windows, and at one end, there is a pitching door beneath a sloping roof leading to a loft. This building was refurbished and integrated into the new farmstead layout in the mid-19th century. The 19th-century extension of this range includes 18-inch brick segmental arches over four wide cart openings, with each arch featuring a rustic keystone. Above these openings, there are four pitching doors to the loft, each set within a small gable. External steps lead up to the loft at the far end of the building.
