Description
Gwern Einion is a two-storey farmhouse, now featuring a lean-to addition at the left (north) gable. The building is constructed from roughly coursed squared rubble masonry, with large stones used for the quoins and lintels. It has a modern slate roof that includes advanced eaves and gables, along with small rooflights set into the front pitch. The farmhouse has rectangular stone stacks that are topped with dripstones and capping.
On the principal elevation, there is a three-window arrangement with widely spaced windows and a central doorway. The ground floor windows are horned sash windows with 16 panes, while the first floor features unequal sash windows with 12 panes. The door is centrally located, and there is an additional single doorway in the front wall of the lean-to addition.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
