Description
Parc Mawr is a 2-storey farmhouse dating from the 18th century, originally designed with three windows but now featuring two. It has a single-storey wing on the left gable end and a lean-to addition on the right. The walls are made of rendered rubble, and the roof is covered with small slates that are grouted, topped with square tile gable copings. The house has gable end stacks that are rendered and have flaunched caps, with three yellow pots on each stack.
The main elevation displays a two-window arrangement with a central boarded door that includes a rectangular fanlight with small square panes. This door is flanked by 12-pane hornless sash windows on both the ground and first floors, featuring cambered heads on the ground floor windows. Above the door, there is an impression of a window, likely an infilled original window rather than a purposely designed 'blind' window. The one-storey service wing to the left has similar detailing, including a gable end stack that is heightened with a smaller brick chimney and a modern pot. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
