Description
Cleifiog Fawr is a 2-storey farmhouse featuring three windows, with a one-and-a-half-storey service wing at the left (north) end that has two windows. To the right (south), there is an added lofted cartshed or granary. The walls are constructed of rubble masonry, with the front face rendered and the rear showing widely slobbered mortar. The roof is covered with small slates and has stone coping along with rendered gable stacks that have been extended with brick and rendered capping. The windows are slightly recessed sashes; the main section has hornless sash windows with glazing bars on the upper storey and 4-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The doorway is offset to the left (north) with a mid-storey window to its right. The rear features sash windows with margin panes. The service wing has a doorway on the right (south), a large 6-pane sash window on the left, and a small-paned fixed light set under the eaves in between.
