Description

Two storey, 3-window farmhouse with single storey agricultural range in-line at L (S) end and single pitched roofed addition at N. Built of mortared rubble masonry incorporating large stones in the build and as quoins and lintels. Slate roof with stone coping at S gable of house; narrow rectangular rendered gable stacks with dripstones and capping. The house has good Georgian vernacular character. Slightly offset facade, with boarded door under a shallow overlight with glazing bars, the windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with slate sills. The agricultural wing has the doorway offset to the R (N), with a single window to R and 3 windows to left; windows are 8-pane casements over shutter ventilators. The single pitched roof addition at the N gable has 2 wide boarded doors in the N wall.
