Tyddyn Sion Wyn

Tyddyn Sion Wyn is a farmhouse that features an original dwelling at the center of a range, with later agricultural buildings aligned at either end. The house is a two-storey structure with three windows and has a single-storey wing at the rear, which is likely a later addition. The house and the west range are grit rendered over rubble, while the east range is exposed rough rubble. The roof of the house and west range is slate, whereas the east range and rear wing have a profiled asbestos roof. Tall stone stacks with prominent caps are located at the gable ends of the house.

The main elevation faces south, with the main doorway offset to the left of center, leading into a modern lean-to porch. The windows are modern casements that are slightly recessed and irregularly spaced, presumably replacing earlier sash windows, except for the window to the right of the doorway, which has been enlarged. There is a large offset on the right side, indicating the location of the principal fireplace. The west range on the left is now part of the dwelling and features boarded doors in the gable end and at the rear, along with modern timber casement windows. The eastern range on the right has a wide doorway that suggests it was used as a cartshed, now fitted with modern sliding doors.

The interior of the house was not inspected during the survey.
