Description

The Winding Drumhouse is a structure made of sawn slate blocks and features a gable-ended slate roof. The lower parts of the side walls, which support the drum axle, are wider and more robust than the upper sections that only support the roof. There are remains of adjacent slate-built structures to the southeast and southwest. The drum itself is still intact along with its brake mechanism.
