Description

The Winding Drumhouse and Incline is a structure featuring two large battered piers made from sawn slate blocks, topped with a gable-ended slate roof. Attached to the southeast gable end are the remains of a slate-built structure. The slate-built incline is in relatively good condition, with some rails still in place, and a flight of steps runs alongside it. The drumhouse retains its winding drum along with a brake mechanism.
