Description
Quarry Hospital is a single-storey building with a rectangular plan, oriented roughly from north-west to south-east. It features a gabled projection at the center of the front. The structure is built of uncoursed rubblestone with red brick dressings and has gable-ended slate roofs, although many slates were missing at the time of the survey. A central brick stack is present. The lower central gabled projection includes a pair of door openings and a small 2-light window above. On either side of the gable, there are two windows, each with a 2-light casement and brick reveals. Much of the original plasterwork inside the building remains intact.
