Description

Fairview is a single-storey building with a two-room plan, oriented roughly north-south. It is constructed of regularly coursed rubblestone with roughcast gable ends and features a slate roof with slate-coped verges. The front of the building has small hip-roofed canted bay windows with slate cills, which are supported on carved slate brackets, located on either side of a roughly central porch that has a similar roof. There are partly external end stacks with tall purple brick shafts. At the rear, there is a full-length catslide outshut. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
