Description
The boundary walls and slate fencing for Nos. 3 and 4 are made of low uncoursed rubblestone. These walls are located on the opposite side of the road from the cottages and mark the end boundary of the plots on this side. The slate fencing consists of thin vertical slate slabs set into the ground and linked by horizontal wire, including along the common boundary, which is also bordered by a hedge. At the rear of the cottages, the boundaries are similarly slate fenced on the sides and back. The back boundary is part of a long slate fence that defines the rear boundary of all the plots for the cottages along Tan y Bwlch. The front plots extend approximately 100 meters from the road frontage, while the rear plots extend about 60 meters.
