Description
The property features slate fencing, rubblestone walling, and privies at Ceunant, which are of special interest. The slate fencing is located at the front of the center and left cottages, extending between the front gardens of the left, center, and right cottages. It continues in front of an outbuilding attached to the left cottage, then along the left (south) boundary and to the rear (west) boundary. In front of the right cottage, there is a rubblestone wall. Two privies are present: one in the front garden of the right cottage and another in the rear garden of the left cottage. The fencing consists of thin vertical slate slabs set into the ground and connected by horizontal wire. The low rubblestone wall features stone-on-edge coping. There are wooden gates leading to the center and left cottages, and an ornamental iron gate for the right cottage, all accompanied by slate paths with low retaining walls that lead to the front doors of the cottages. The privies are small gabled structures made of rubblestone with slate roofs.
