Description

The Telford Milestone is a 19th-century milestone made of dressed Anglesey limestone. It features a shallow triangular head and raking chamfered sides. There is a cast iron inset plate with white lettering on a black background that reads: HOLY- / HEAD / 31 / BANGOR / 6 / C. CURIG / 8M – 3F. The stone shows some damage to the right of the cast-iron plate.
