Description
Nos 24 and 25 Tan y Bwlch in Llandygai are a pair of quarryman's cottages, each designed with a single-storey, two-room layout and a loft, oriented from north-west to south-east. The cottages are constructed from roughly coursed and dressed rubblestone blocks, which are rendered and painted on the gable ends, topped with a slate roof. Each cottage features three-light windows with slate cills on either side of a slightly offset entrance. They have integral end stacks and a shared ridge stack located centrally between the two cottages. Additionally, there are windows on the gable ends that light the lofts and catslide lean-tos at the rear. The cottages include three-light windows flanking a 20th-century half-glazed door. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
