Description
The Quarry Offices is a single-storey T-plan office building. The earlier section, which is the cross-wing to the west, is aligned approximately north-south, while the later section to the east is aligned roughly east-west. The later range features doors at both the front and back, allowing workers to enter and exit as they collected their wages. The building is constructed of coursed slate rubble, with the earlier cross-wing showing remnants of render and likely later slate hanging, while the later range includes some red brick dressings. It has gable-ended slate roofs with brick stacks. The front cross-wing has a 12-paned sash window, and the later range contains three 6-paned sash windows. Original plaster finishes are still intact.
