Description
The Small Cowhouse at Coed-y-Bedo is a 17th-century rectangular structure built from local rubble with a slate roof. It features slab-coped gable parapets and crude stone kneelers. The main (west) side has entrances on the left and right, which have late 19th-century or early 20th-century pegged frames and boarded doors; the left door includes an inset glazed panel. In the center, there is a 4-pane sash window. The north gable has a plain-glazed upper loading bay and a 20th-century brick lean-to with a corrugated asbestos roof. To the east of the south gable, there is a later rubble wall that slopes down for a short distance before ending. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
