Description
The building is a former Dower House at Cefndeuddwr, constructed of rubble with a slate roof and a rectangular plan. It features a 19th-century entrance on the north side, which includes a pegged doorcase and a boarded door. To the right of this entrance is a part-glazed window with six panes and ventilation slats beneath. There is a blocked primary entrance on the east gable end, with a 19th-century sash window with nine panes situated above it, apparently in its original opening. A small, blocked original window is located to the left on the south side. The upper entrance to the rebuilt west gable is accessed via stone steps and is parapeted.
Inside, there is a fine beamed ceiling supported by three deeply stopped-chamfered transverse beams and delicately stopped-chamfered subsidiary beams. The roof is a two-bay design with a contemporary truss, although it is missing its queen struts. The floor is cobbled and dates from the 19th century.
