Description

This large chest tomb is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Beuno. It is constructed from rubble stonework and has a rough render finish. The tomb is topped with an edge-moulded ledger made up of three slabs of standard proportions. At the northeast corner, there is a sandstone panel that reads: HER LYETH... / THE:REC.../ WILL..... MAU... CLENE.../ DIED THE ...ANO DOmin 1622.
