Description
The table tomb in the churchyard of the Church of St Beuno is an inscribed ledger supported by four upright slabs. The ledger projects and has a hollowed edge on the underside. Two lines of inscription create a simple frame around the lettering. Each support slab at the ends features a single carved panel, while those on the sides have three panels, all framed by two inscribed lines.
The east end support slab displays an hourglass, while the west end features a memento mori with a skull and crossbones. On each side, the first and third carved panels depict a cherub, and the center panel on each side shows the archangel sounding the last trumpet and calling the dead to rise for Judgment. The mason has intricately carved the archangel's feet and toes on the visible side.
