Tyn-llan is a two-storey house built of pebbledashed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof. The building features three bays and is one room deep. The main two bays contain reception rooms on either side of an entrance hall, each with axial stacks. The third bay, located at the southwest end, serves as a service area and includes a gable stack. The main front door is boarded and has a simple rectangular overlight above it, along with narrow four-pane horned sash windows. The upper bay also has a boarded door and similar windows.
