Description
The Former Lodge to Plas Penrhyn is a single-storey building featuring a canted front. It is constructed from dressed slatestone blocks and has a slate roof with oversailing eaves. There are steps leading up to the central entrance, which has an ogee-arch and a returned label, with a modern boarded door. The canted returns include similar ogee-headed and labelled windows, also with modern glazing. On the left side, there is a decorative flush lateral chimney that has moulded capping and paired ogee-headed piercings. To the right return, there is a modern gabled dormer, and additional modern features have been added to the rear. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
