Description
Tan-y-groeslon is a building constructed from irregularly coursed rubblestone, featuring slate lintels and significant areas of rendering on the left gable end. It has a slate roof with slate-coped verges at the gable ends of the main range. The main entrance is a narrow central porch that leads to a boarded inner door, positioned between slightly projecting full-height gables. The first floor has small 3-light mullioned and transomed timber windows, while the ground floor features larger multi-paned windows, with the lower central sections being vertically sliding. There is a painted brick ridge stack with chimney pots on either side of the porch. The gable ends of the main range have windows on each floor, with the left side being infilled and the right side having a plastic window on the ground floor. The rear elevation includes a gabled porch that is slightly offset to the left, above which is a rooflight, and a 2-light plastic window to the right. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
