Bwthyn Cochwillan

Bwthyn Cochwillan is a two-storey farmhouse built in a simple late Georgian style, with attached lower outbuildings. The structure features irregularly coursed rubblestone with buttered pointing and prominent slate lintels, topped with slate roofs that have coped verges on the house. The building has a basic T-plan layout with an equal-height range at the rear. An outbuilding is attached to the right gable end, with a single-storey outbuilding at right angles, forming an L-shape with the other outbuildings.

The house has two symmetrically placed six-paned sash windows with slate cills on each floor at the front. There is a central gabled porch with a king-post in the gable, which contains an inner boarded door with a large glazed panel. The left gable end features rendered integral end stacks and a four-paned sash window on the first floor. The left wall of the rear range has a boarded door under an open lean-to porch, but otherwise, there are no openings; a 20th-century lean-to is attached, along with a rendered integral end stack.

The main outbuilding has a boarded door next to the house, while the smaller outbuilding has a boarded door to the left, a small window roughly in the centre, and an integral end stack with a brick shaft. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
