Fferm Cochwillan

Fferm Cochwillan is a 2-storey farmhouse built in a simple late Georgian style, with a lower outbuilding attached to the left gable end. The farmhouse features roughly coursed rubblestone, while the outbuilding has irregularly coursed stone. Both structures have slate roofs. The symmetrical front of the farmhouse has three bays, with 20th-century multi-paned 2-light metal casements set in original 19th-century slate-cilled openings. There is a central 20th-century gabled porch with a half-glazed outer door and rendered integral end stacks. The outbuilding includes a boarded door with a large slate lintel to the right, a small eaves window directly above it, and an 8-pane/boarded ventilator window on the ground floor of the left gable end. At the rear of the house, there is a 2-storey lean-to. Inside, the ground-floor rooms in the lean-to have exposed joists in the ceilings, and there is a 19th-century staircase.
