Description
Lledwigan is a farmhouse built in the Georgian style. It features whitened rubble with voussoir heads above the windows and smooth render on the porch. The gables are finished with slate hanging, and the slate roof, which is grouted in parts, has unwhitened rubble stacks at the gable ends. The main range is three storeys high, with a two-storey rear outshut to the north and a wing to the south.
The entrance front faces east and includes a later 19th-century hipped lean-to porch. This porch has a tripartite small-paned sash window on the left and a part-glazed door with an overlight on the right. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows, while the attic storey features lower 9-pane sashes. The two-storey wing to the south has a large gable end stack with weather coursing and stone coping at the gable. There is a 20th-century window on the ground floor of this wing.
The rear elevation includes a two-storey outshut to the north (on the left) and a modern porch extension situated between this outshut and the advanced wing on the right. To the left, there is a single-storey outbuilding, possibly originally an out-kitchen or brewhouse, which has an axial stack and is a mono-pitched structure aligned with the garden wall.
