Description
Llan-bach is a single-storey, two-unit cottage dating from the 19th century. It features a lean-to at the west end and a small gabled extension at the rear. The front elevation has a wide doorway at the center, which has a cambered head made of stone voussoirs and is flanked by roughly dressed pilasters. Similar pilasters are located at either end of the cottage. The original doorway has been narrowed to fit a modern domestic door. The walls are constructed of roughly dressed coursed gritstone block masonry with a plinth, while the sides and rear are pebbledashed rendered. The windows, which were originally pointed, have been altered and now contain modern replacement four-pane sashes. The roof is made of modern slate, laid in diminishing courses at the front, with a rendered stack at the rear.
