Description
This is a low rubblestone wall with stone and slate-on-edge coping, running along the east side of the former turnpike road (old A5) for about 0.65 kilometers. The wall remains largely unaltered, except for the area around the access to an electricity sub-station. It features three 'depots', which are rectangular alcoves that project into the adjoining field like bastions. One depot is located immediately north of the weigh house, another is situated between No. 1 and Nos. 2 & 3 Lon Isaf on the opposite side of the road, and the third is roughly midway between the other two.
