Description
Llys Awel is a building dating from the 20th century, featuring a main part that is one storey high with an attic, designed in a 2-room plan with a central passageway and end stacks. There is a single-storey range attached to the left gable end. The main structure is built from irregularly coursed rubblestone, with the front wall rendered and the single-storey section limewashed. Both sections have slate roofs, with the roof of the single-storey section graded.
The main part includes a central gabled porch, which has narrow windows on either side and an inner 20th-century half-glazed door. On either side of the porch, there are 4-paned sash windows, with smaller versions located in the gabled eaves dormers directly above. The building features integral end stacks. The single-storey section contains two casement windows and a tall integral end stack on the left side. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
