Description

Pont Abererch is a bridge constructed from rubble stonework. It features three segmental arches, with the center span being larger than the others. The arches are formed with shaped voussoirs that are slightly inset behind the flush spandrels. There are cutwaters on the upstream side of both water piers, which are splayed back to the base of the flush parapet, topped with large stones placed transversely. The center span measures approximately 7.5 meters and rises about 1.5 meters above the water, creating a slightly hump-backed carriageway that is 3.9 meters wide.
