Description

The bridge is built of rubble stonework. It consists of 3 segmental arches, the centre span larger, the arches formed with shaped voussoirs slightly inset behind the flush spandrels. Cutwaters on the upstream side of both water piers, splayed back to the base of the flush parapet, which is coped with large transversely placed stones. The centre span is c7.5m rising approximately 1.5m above the water, and provides a slightly hump-backed carriageway of 3.9m width.
