Description

24 Post Office Terrace is a row of wide-fronted terraced cottages built of coursed squared finely joined rubble with slate roofs. The cottages feature large transverse stacks on alternate party walls and have a repetitive plan. Each cottage has a single window and door, with the front doors alternating sides. There is a small horizontally sliding sash window with small panes on each floor, set into deep painted reveals, and long slate lintels above the ground floor openings, all aligned.

At the eastern end of the row, there is a blockwork lean-to added to the gable. The door, in a 1930s style, has an oval glazed panel, and the first-floor window has been replaced with a 12-pane timber window.
