Description

19 to 24 Aberech Road is a row of wide-fronted terraced cottages built in a repetitive plan. They are constructed from coursed squared finely joined rubble and feature slate roofs. Each cottage has large transverse stacks on alternate party walls. The design includes a single window and door for each cottage, with the front doors alternating sides. Each cottage has a small horizontally sliding sash window with small panes, one on each floor, set into deep painted reveals, and long slate lintels over the ground floor openings that are all aligned. The original door has been replaced with a hardwood one, and a modern 6-pane window has replaced the original design.
