Description

Rhydelen is a terrace of cottages located at 15-18 Abererch Road, aligned along the main street of the village. The cottages, numbered 15 and 16, are slightly elevated at the western end. They are constructed from coursed snecked rubble stonework and topped with slated roofs. Each cottage is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The right bay features a boarded door with a 4-pane overlight above it, while the left bay has a 12-pane sash window on both floors, all equipped with sawn slate sills. There is a four-flue stack on the left wall, and flat-roofed extensions are present at the rear.

The cottage retains its original framed and boarded door with a plain rectangular overlight, although the timber windows no longer have their glazing bars.
