Description

Morawel is a group of two cottages dating from the 19th century, positioned end to end with their sides facing the main street at 13 and 14 Abererch Road. The cottages are constructed of rubble stone and feature a half-hipped slate roof with wide eaves and a central multi-coloured brick chimney stack. Each cottage has one storey with attic accommodation, showcasing a 16-pane sash window on each floor that faces the road. The entrances consist of a boarded door, with one similar sash window and two additional windows located in the gable end on the first floor. Both cottages have flat-roofed extensions at the rear.

No 14 has preserved its original boarded door and includes a single-storey pebbledashed flat-roofed extension at the back.
