Description
The former Dock Offices at Y Felinheli is a single-storey building with an L-plan layout, featuring slate-hung walls made of fish-scale slates in three alternating colors: grey, purple, and green. The steeply-pitched hipped roofs are adorned with contrasting bands of colored slate and include two rendered chimneys, one located on the front roof hip and the other on the rear ridge.
The hipped end facing the harbour has two 4-light metal casement windows dating from around 1930 to 1950, along with a similar 5-light window and a doorway in a flat-roofed extension to the left, which is also slate-hung to match the main structure.
Filling the angle of the L-plan is a later canted-ended conservatory that features a canted hipped roof and a hipped raised clerestorey, although the glazing has been altered. Inside, there is an earlier 5-light bay window. There are modern additions to the right of the conservatory. The slate-hanging on the exterior may date from the same period as the extensions and windows, which is mid-20th century.
