Description

The South Dock and quay walls at Y Felinheli are a large rectangular basin constructed with massive squared stone blocks and capped with substantial stone slab capstones. The basin features an opening at the northwest corner, which has rounded ends leading to piers, and includes a sloping ramp that descends to the quay along the inside of the west side. From the northwest corner, a stone embankment extends along the waterline, connecting to the lock entrance of the dock system built between 1900 and 1902. Additionally, from the southwest, the embankment continues along the waterline and curves eastward to meet the Garddfon Inn.
