Description

The Vaynol Park Wall, located in the Y Felinheli Community, is a Grade II listed structure. It runs first northeast and then southeast below Park Wood in straight lines, curving around Dock Wood before turning northeast again to the gates of Bryntitrion Lodge. The wall is made of rubble stone and is of considerable height, featuring coping made of rough slate slabs laid on edge. It ends at tall gate piers at both lodge entrances, which are constructed of grey ashlar with battered sides and stepped slate caps. Incorporated into the wall near the graving dock is a boat store with a slate roof, which has double ledged doors, a single door to the left, and a boarded window.
