Description

Cae Glas is a group of five cottages built from pink rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring three red brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single range of four small cottages at the front, with one additional cottage in the southeast rear wing. The cottages are arranged in pairs, with each pair having a one-window range on either side of a double porch. The windows are 4-pane sashes, set beneath slate slab lintels and slate sills. The upper window heads slightly break the eaves, positioned under stone dormer gables that have fretted bargeboards. The porches are paired gabled structures with an M-shaped roof and arched entries, the arches made of tooled grey stone. Notably, the left pair of porches (Nos. 3 and 4) also feature fretted bargeboards.
