Description
Cornhill Wharf is an L-shaped quay constructed with large dressed stone blocks arranged in regular courses. It features battered sides and has three weathered stone mooring posts on the northwest side facing Cornhill. At the end of the northeast-southwest arm, there is a return wall leading to the slipway known as 'The Beach'. The northwest-southeast arm extends in front of the current Madoc Yacht Club and ends with stone steps. The Beach wall includes a later stone parapet.
