Description
The cowhouse at Cefn Rhengwrt is a long rectangular building, positioned roughly east-west, and forms the northern side of the farmyard. It is constructed of irregularly coursed rubblestone, featuring slate-stone lintels above the doors and windows. The building has a slate roof that includes small ridge ventilators and glass rooflights in the section that houses animals on the right.
On the left side, there is a stable door, with three slit vents for hay storage to its right. The stock section has three doorways, with a vertically louvered window located between the center and left doorways. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to attached to the left gable end. Inside, the structure is supported by A-frame trusses.
