Description
This railway viaduct features seven semicircular arches and is constructed from rock-faced and heavily tooled red sandstone masonry. The arches are accented with rusticated voussoirs and quoins, while the soffits are made of brick. Each pier has a freestone impost band, and the structure includes a cornice and a plain parapet. The end piers slightly project, and the piers that flank the river have ramped brick bases.
