Description
Glan Hafren is an 18th-century vernacular house that features two storeys and a two-window range, along with a single-storey kitchen wing that is set at right angles to the rear (north) and includes a lean-to porch in the angle. The house is constructed from rubble masonry and has a gray grit render. It has a modern slate roof with rendered gable stacks. The entrance elevation faces the smithy to the east and includes a central entrance within a shallow gabled porch, flanked by four-pane horned sash windows. The first floor has windows in gabled half dormers. The rear elevation has a single four-pane sash window at the right (south) end, along with the single-storey kitchen wing and porch that feature modern casements. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
