Description
The Lodge at Llynon Hall is a single-storey gatehouse built in a rectangular shape, featuring a canted bay at the northern end that overlooks the driveway. The entrance is located in the west wall. It is constructed from roughly dressed stone arranged in courses, topped with a slate roof that has broadly projecting eaves and verges. The roof is hipped on the west side and gabled on the east side, with diagonally set paired rendered axial brick stacks that have capping.
The entrance doorway is offset towards the left (north) end of the west wall, with a single window to the right. Both openings have roughly dressed stone heads. The canted bay includes a two-light window flanked by single lights, and there is a single window in the east wall. The east gable end features a paired ground floor light and a small opening in the gable apex above. Most of the windows are blocked. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
